The \"Combined Test\" (nuchal translucency) is carried out between 11+6- and 13+6-weeks\u2019 gestation.
The measurement of nuchal translucency makes it possible to determine the probability of a chromosomal abnormality in the unborn child (e.g., Down's syndrome).<\/p>

The so-called NIFTY\u2122 test can be carried out from 10+1 weeks to 22 weeks. It looks for the three most common congenital trisomies, such as Down syndrome, Edwards syndrome and P\u00e4tau syndrome. It also offers the option of checking for other genetic changes.
